This tour will include some of Peru's most iconic sights, such as the World-famous Machu Picchu citadel, the colors of Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain as well as the lively Inca culture of the Sacred Valley.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Sacred Valley Tour

We’ll begin with a relaxed transfer to the airport and thereafter comfortable items to your hotel in Cusco. The time will be made available for you to drop off your luggage, get a few moments of relief and acclimatize yourself to the altitude before you start the adventure. Then around 7:00 AM-7:30 AM, your tour guide will meet you in the hotel to then drive you to Sacred Valley. Pisac is the first stop where you will enjoy an interesting and detailed scene for about 40 to 60 minutes where you will know the impressive agricultural terraces, archaeological remains and lively handicraft market. Passing Pisac you will follow to Urubamba for the delicious Buffet Lunch with a variety of Peruvian dishes and international dishes as well. Afternoon is dedicated to the Sacred Valley tour to Ollantaytambo (the last living Inca town) where you are going to spend 40 minutes with a guide to explain to you the huge stone buildings, the fortress and the historic streets of the ancient town. The day ends in Chinchero, where the city and the cradle of textile art is the rainbow colour. In here you will find its well-preserved architecture of the Incas, colonial church and traditional textile workshops. Your arrival in Cusco will be around 7:00 PM, in the Plaza Regocijo (only steps away from the Plaza Major).

Day 2: Machu Picchu Tour

The Machu Picchu tour starts very early (4 am) by hotel pickup and then taking the Inca Rail train from Cusco. This is accomplished by travelling by bus to Ollantaytambo and then from there you will board the spectacular scenic train which will journey through the amazing Urubamba River valley towards Aguas Calientes. In Aguas Calientes you'll board the Consettur bus on its way uphill towards the citadel of the famous Machu Picchu. After arriving at the sanctuary, you will proceed through the entire tour of the city of Machu Picchu under the direction of an expert guide who is bilingual in Spanish and English, while explaining the various main temples, royal residences and sophisticated terraces of this valuable archaeological environment. This iconic Wonder of the World will introduce you to interesting facts about Inca engineering, astronomy and everyday life of the people who settled there. Then, you're traveling back on a bus to Aguas Calientes where you'll spend time hiking through the town's restaurants and enjoying some free time. In the evening (from 6 to 8 pm), you get on the train back to Ollantaytambo. You will be met at the station by our staff who will take you to Cusco later at around 10:00PM at Plaza Regocijo.

Day 3: Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain & Departure

The Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain tour begins at an early time with pickup from the hotel at 4.30-5.00 AM. After driving to Cusipata where the rest of the night will be spent on a hearty breakfast, one will visit Checacupe to see the ancient Inca and colonial bridges before heading to the town of Llamarancho.After you arrive in Cusipata, where you will spend the night for a hearty breakfast, you'll stop off in Checacupe for a moment to enjoy the ancient Inca and colonial bridges, before departing for Llamarancho. Then head back to basecamp and make a brief, but steady, uphill walk for an hour onto the Palccoyo Pass at 4,880m. Coming from this side, there are amazing panoramic views of the alluring Three Rainbow Mountains, the Palccoyo peaks, majestic Ausangate mountain and the Stone Forest. At the height, you'll spend approximately an hour taking photos and eating in awe of the stunning scenery of the Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain. Descending you will have a very tasty hot lunch in Cusipata and then, you will be going back to Cusco. You will reach Plaza Regocijo at about 17:30 hrs. Our team will be responsible for your exclusive hotel to air-port transfer at the agreed time. End of services.
