Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Experiencia Palcoyo. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Reservations & Payments
- A 40% deposit of the total trip cost is required to confirm any reservation.
- The remaining balance must be paid:
- One day before your arrival, or
- On the first day of your arrival in Lima or Cusco
- If the booking is made within 15 days prior to arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking
- A reservation is not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received
- Experiencia Palcoyo reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payment is not completed within the specified deadlines
- For full-day tours (excluding Machu Picchu), full payment is required in advance
2. Accepted Payment Methods
- Bank transfers
- Credit or debit cards (all major cards accepted)
- PayPal (5% transaction fee applies)
- Cash payments (at our Cusco office or designated location)
3. Accepted Currencies
- Peruvian Soles (PEN)
- US Dollars (USD)
4. Modification Policy
Date Changes:
- Changes can be made up to 15 days before the tour start date
- Subject to availability
- The client is responsible for any additional costs (transportation, accommodation, etc.)
Itinerary Changes:
- Subject to availability
- May incur additional charges
Important:
For tour packages, Machu Picchu visit dates cannot be changed, as tickets are:
- Non-transferable
- Non-modifiable
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Tours (1 day or more - excluding Machu Picchu)
- Up to 48 hours before: 25% penalty + 6% payment gateway fee
- Up to 24 hours before: 50% penalty + 6% fee
- Last-minute (12 hours before): 100% penalty
Machu Picchu Tours
- Up to 7 days before: 50% penalty + 6% fee
- Within 7 days: 100% penalty
Note:
- Train tickets, entrance tickets, and bus tickets are non-refundable
- In case of strikes or protests, cancellations up to 5 days before: 10% penalty
Refund Processing
- Supplier-related refunds: up to 45 business days
- Standard refunds: 7 to 30 business days
Refund methods:
- Bank transfer
- PayPal
Note:
All transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.
6. Client Responsibility
The client is responsible for providing all required travel documents, including:
- Valid passport
- Visa (if applicable)
- Travel insurance
- Health certificates
Experiencia Palcoyo is not responsible for denied services due to missing documentation.
